a night on the mountain

Last night it rained and made me think quite a bit about the conditions here and the work that we do.....
The current count is 18 homes that have been completed, around 8 to 12 people per family (believe it or not!) and so I could not help but rejoice in the fact that around 150 people did not have to sleep in the rain!!!
If that is not Gods work, I dont know what it is.......

Lord thank you so much for the energy to carry on! your encouragement is visible here on the accomplishments of our group and the smiles of the honduran nation.
Thank you for the time to be able to do it and for the conditions we have enjoyed.

Before I came to Honduras, one of the kids here, had emailed and told me that it was raining very bad every day.....God has managed to circle the rain around our schedule and I am so very happy for that.

Who but God has the power to stop or delay the rain, who but God has the power to keep us going, who but God has the power to bring people here and give hope to this land??? Surely His love is so amazing and His power so great and wonderful!!!

love to all!

From the Betz:

We have sent messages to you, but don't see them posted. We hope you all are getting them.

We are so encouraged by what God is giving you ALL the ability to do. To see the pictures of you ALL working so hard, loving so much, and giving so freely paints a beautiful picture of our Savior.
We are continuing to pray for ALL of you! Keep on doing His work and loving Him!
We miss you ALL and love you ALL very much!!

Hello everybody! This is Heather garcia speaking. Everything has been going great down here in Honduras. Today I went to the hospital,It was rough but also a beautiful and blessed visit for me today! There was this lady she had a little baby about 2 months old and premature, she was the cutest thing I had ever laid eyes on! I then Asked th lady what her daughters name was and she said she hadnt picked out a named for her yet. I then asked her if she had anynames she liked and she didnt know then i asked her if she wanted help, she said yes, so I finally chose a name for her , that she said was the one! And Her new baby girl is now names Monica Rosa sebanera!!! It ws such a joy to see the happiness in her eyes as she was telling eveyone her new daughters name!! I will always remember that moment! well everyone I love you all! And cant wait to get back. Irene and Gabby I love you guys and miss you tremendously!!!
